New Sculpture for City Hall!
We are proud and excited to announce the Greenfield Beautification Committee donation of a fabulous sculpture “Stars on the Wind”, to grace the west entrance of City Hall!
The work, selected after a year-long search was created by Richard Taylor, a well-known Milwaukee artist and sculptor. Watch for news of the installation, planned for May.
Did you know that Greenfield was officially declared “The Home of the Knock out Rose”?
The “Knock Out Rose”, developed by Greenfield resident scientist Will Radler, hybridized the rose at his home business, where he continues to hybrid over a thousand rose plants.
In 2016, Mayor Neitzke and a committee of city officials had named Greenfield as the “Home of the Knockout Rose”. Now known for its beauty, disease and pest - free qualities, it has become famous as one of the top favorites of gardeners. The “Knockout” series is sold worldwide.
