Get Your Yards Ready
The Greenfield Beautification Committee is bringing back their popular “Award Winning Landscape” program. From July 9 thru the 16th, judges will be driving through the city looking at the front yards of every property. Nothing to enter, just get your property in great shape!
Award winners in each Aldermanic district will have an award sign displayed in their yard for 2 weeks. In addition, a reception will be held in their honor at City Hall in September.
FLASH: The Greenfield Beautification Committee has openings for volunteer judges for the Landscape Award contest. Call Joan Stevens at 414-545-3381 for more information.
Join the Greenfield Arbor Day, the largest annual Arbor Day celebration in Wisconsin. The event will be held Saturday, October 2nd at Elmdale Elementary School, 5311 S. Honey Creek Drive.
For nearly 30 years, our residents have helped change the face of Greenfield through our “Adopt A Tree” program, beautifying our parks, schools and boulevards. You can help by donating to the “Adopt a Tree” project and joining with fellow residents on October 2nd to help plant dozens of trees and shrubs. Check our website for tree order forms.
